Trade Show Exhibit Themes: Orbit Into Another World

Posted on March 28, 2009 by Andrea

Trade show exhibitors often create magical environments to take you out of the ordinary and sweep you away to another world. They can be filled with music The House of Blues found at the Exhibitor Show 2006 in Las Vegas , or animals live African blackfooted penguins at the Magnussen Home Furnishing s booth at International Home Furnishings Market s biannual trade show in April 2005 , adventure or just plain fun. Trade show exhibitors often ask why they should create a distinctive theme for their trade show display booth. There are at least three good reasons. Themes set you apart from your competition, stimulate excitement and momentum for your staff, and dramatically increase traffic to your trade show display. Here s a good example: The International Home Furnishing Market s biannual trade show April 2005 was spread over 12 million square feet in 188 different buildings with over 75,000 attendees. Magnussen Home Furnishing was exhibiting at this giant trade show and their theme was Jazz Age opulence featuring Irving Berlin s Puttin on the Ritz with high hats, narrow collars, white spats and lots...

New Or Used Construction Equipment - The Return On Investment Decision

Posted on February 19, 2009 by Osvaldo

It has always been a debate whether to buy new or used construction equipment. Smaller fleets prefer to buy used construction equipment as they attract less capital investments. Another reason for people to opt for used construction equipment is that they are sometimes as good as new and come at a very heavy discounted price as compared to that offered at the showrooms. Moreover, Associated Equipment Distributors AED and TradeYard, Inc, have jointly announced an alliance that shall provide certified inspection of used construction equipment that can also be sold online. This has been done to boost the business-to-business sales via online medium. It gives better promotion to the sale of used construction equipment and buyers to be confident about their purchase. Usually buyers buy the used construction equipment only upon the preliminary inspection done by the technical agent from either the buyer or the seller side. Since a neutral and unbiased inspection report shall be available it would lead to increased sales and more profitable bargains to small investors. Small fleet owners usually opt for...

Tips To Avoid Auto Theft

I live in Detroit: one of the cities with the highest rates of auto theft in the nation. Here are some tips from an expert on how to avoid getting your car or any of the contents of your car stolen. Be a Smart Parker Remember to always park your car in well-light areas. Having your car in a high traffic area is also a good idea. You might even consider getting assigned parking at a lot with an attendant if you are concerned about your car. Car Alarm Fallacies Car alarms might sound like a great safety feature, but they might just be one more of the bells and whistles. You can put a sticker on your car that says that it has a car alarm without actually including the car alarm. You will save money this way. You will also save yourself and others headaches when people accidentally brush against your car. Lock it Up Almost half of all car thefts are performed when an owner leaves the car unlocked. This could mean that they forget to lock their car once, or it could also mean that they leave their car running while they just run in to do an errand. Turn your car off, take your keys, and lock your car...

Our Pleasant Meal At C C Supper Club In Door County Wisconsin

Posted on October 19, 2008 by Charlie

My husband, oldest son, and I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at C C Supper Club in Fish Creek, Wisconsin in the heart of Door County during a recent trip to Door County. The building houses a supper club for dining along with a bar with games and live entertainment on many weekends. We were very hungry when we arrived so we went directly to the dining room to eat. We were offered a table near the large fireplace in the dining room. It was a nice cozy place to sit on the cool fall evening we dined there. The dinner entrees at the restaurant come with a choice of potato, soup or salad, and bread. In addition, the supper club has an extensive wine collection they have a suggested wine for each of the entrees they offer. One of our diners opted for soup with his meal and ordered the French Onion soup. He said it was delicious and that it tasted how French onion soup should taste, with a thick hearty soup base, a piece of crusty French bread placed on top of the soup, and topped with bubbling hot cheese. The other members of our dining party had salad instead of soup. The restaurant has 4 distinct...
